Well turns out its not under warranty anymore however I was able to add it to my brother's geek squad protection plan so they are sorting it out for me. They decided that its probably just an os...
Yeah so its gone again after I had to restart it, I think it might still be under warranty im probably just going to take it to best buy and have them help me out.
Really good news, I was about to reinstall windows but then I decided I needed to double check the forum post one last time, and it started another D: drive repair, frustrated since the other 2 didnt...
I don't suppose factory resetting my computer would possibly solve this would it? Because at this point i'm willing to lose my files if it means I can use the D: drive again. And if that would...
After about 8 sfc/scannows I have given up, it dosent seem like its actually accomplishing anything.
I actually had no idea about repeating the runs and restarting thanks
Edit: oh and sorry I didn't see the diskpart part. So I don't really know how to get a screenshot of it (I know, im pathetic)...
I did sfc/scannow and it said it found corrupt files but was unable to fix some I cant attach the log file because it was too big, if there is another way I don't know how to share it.

Also I checked and it seems to be properly connected. Also I don't think the computer would scan and repair it for 5 hours if it was not, but honestly I wouldn't know.
Took a bit but I found the box gaming G series gs70 stealth is that better?
I hate to say it because it shows just how little I know but when I went into bios, I didn't know what to look at to see if it was there, I looked at everything but I couldn't even find anything...
I checked and it only shows the C: drive and 3 other ones that have no name, but all their capacities are really low so I don't think any of them are it.
Edit: and thanks for the warm welcome :)
Oh and another thing that I completely forgot to mention was that this isn't the first time something sort of like this happened to me while using one of these laptops. My first one (got replaced by...
So let me preface this by saying that I am no means a computer expert, and probably will not be able to provide the most useful information, but I will try. Basically my gaming laptop (Msi gs70...
