I've been monitoring temps and usage. Whilst in games my CPU usage was around 40%. The temps are all low and in games I am getting a max of 50c on my CPU and a max of about 45c on my GPU.
Also...
Played with some friends and noticed that I was losing about 10fps in coop but It was still only reaching about 60% GPU usage

Here is a screenshot of Afterburner that I was running whilst Borderlands 2 was playing. I never really saw the gpu usage go above 56% and stayed constant the entire time.
Also I...
My PhysX is set on low as I noticed significant frame drops when it was on high. I did wipe all of the AMD drivers off before I installed my new graphics card but it may be worth me doing it again to...
Hi,
In October I bought the MSI GTX 980 graphics card as an upgrade for my Radeon R9 280x. I presumed that I would be getting a lot better performance in games since the 980 is a much more...
The black boxes kind of look like artifacts however if i highlight the part of the page it is on, the boxes will disappear. It's like part of the page isn't being loaded in properly when i switch...
So I've been using the new gtx 980 for the past week and it hasn't once caused any issues. The only thing I have noticed is that on some webpages black boxes will appear if i switch between...
I'm looking at getting this graphics card as it is one my friend has and he gets insane FPS on games using it and it isn't too expensive for me to buy:
MSI NVIDIA GTX 980 Gaming Graphics Card...
Tested out using another hard drive and with that the only working driver is the one that windows will install for you and if i try any AMD drivers then it will instantly start causing the crashes. I...
I am currently looking at the RMA forum for Sapphire however it needs numbers that are found on the card itself so I won't be able to find these out till later
For the past couple of days I have been using my Dad's graphics card and it has not caused the issue once. I've decided to try a few other tests just to make sure that it isn't some other component. ...
I don't know the exact make of my Dad's card but I know its an AMD 7800 series card.
I am currently looking at the return policy for the site I bought my card from so hopefully i should be able...
However I tried putting my card in my dad's PC and for some reason it works in his PC. I really want to just order a new card but my dad is determined that it has to be some other issue which is...
Okay I tried out my Dad's card and it works fine and doesn't cause any of the issues even using the same 15.7.1 driver version. I am unsure as to how the graphics card has been damaged considering I...
The card is not very old at all, it is less than a year old. It is a Sapphire DualX R9 280x
Here is a link to the card

I am going to try my dad's graphics card out later on today and see if that resolves the issue. If it does fix it then it looks like I'll be dishing out £400... :(
Infuriatingly, even using that driver causes the same errors to happen. It seems that it can't just be the driver version that is causing it :/
Is it maybe worth me reformatting my hard drive and...
I didn't find it anywhere. I allowed windows to update my driver from the basic display adapter and that's the one it gave me. What old versions of catalyst do you have saved? I'm willing to try any...
Windows doesn't seem to want to install that version of the update, instead it gives me version "15.200.1062.1004" which I believe is the same driver version as what catalyst 15.7.1 installs for me....
Could you please send me a link to this driver?
Sadly 15.8 has the same issues :(
I've already tried using other RAM so I doubt it's that.
Surely if it was the PSU it would also do the same thing with games? Especially considering games are much more taxing than simply...
I only ran afterburner to show you what it is normally set as. I don't often use it, I just thought maybe I should have been using specific clock speeds and that was what was causing the issues.
I have looked it up and a lot of people do have these same problems however most are solved by things I have already tried such as adding a TdrDelay or cleaning drivers before installing new ones....
