I would suggest you look at the release notes. For me the BETA was compatible with my A10-7800P APU and FCU while the latest non-BETA release for the A10-7800P APU was 17.7.2 and was not compatible...

After installing 17.2.2 17.7.2 any video in Edge or IE 11 will crash the browser. I have tried with Adobe Flash enabled and disabled and it makes no difference. Anyone else seeing this issue?
