Just to give you a good feeling save your "Mounted Devices"
REG EXPORT HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices E:\Backup\Mount_REG.reg (Just an example for the added path)
to reimport that *.reg type

I wouldn't do that! Never!
Try to get an additional Disk and connect it to a SATA-Port. Install your WINDOWS there with the right ISO. (UEFI) From there you should be able to mount the rest and do...
Try this:
navigate to C:\users\<name>\Documents and on the "LOCATION" TAB just replace the Letter from (C:) to (D:) like this: D:\users\<name>\Documents and click "OK".
It keeps the structure of...
Dism /online ? for an offline image?
You know what a Shim operation is?
/offbootdir=unused old MBR-Bootpartition?
Read the MS-Docs
I don't like discussions! I prefer solutions. The precondition for getting help and a solution is a good cooperation.
In the hole thread I can't find any helpful response. Just worthless stuff! And...
Your labels are horrible! Not even a "Windows" label!
Your SFC-Command was wrong!

Till now markky99 didn't respond to the above comment.
Changing quotes and removing it's context like in post #55 is very manipulative.
Let us know, how and when I was creating / loading the WinRE if the partition needs to be enlarged? The post...

In the search box type cmd
then select "Run as admin"
you get this:
C:\Windows\System32>
then you copy & paste
dir /?
C:\Windows\System 32>dir /?
run cmd
C:\Windows\System32>dir /?
and configure accordingly
ISO on USB is not a good idea, because it's too slow!
Don't run an Update.
Just mount the ISO from (D:) and start the setup.exe. The process checks the PC first and let you know if s.th. is wrong....
Run it as Inplacement. It's safer! Disable Network, then it's faster!
Mount WIN11 ISO and let it run.
But if you want to upgrade to WIN11 it's not needed, because it will be replaced by a WIN 11 WinRE.wim.
The right command
C:\Windows\System32\Reagentc /setreimage /path R:\Recovery\WindowsRE /target C:\Windows
but it doesn't work as long there is no WinRE.wim in the directory
you have to extrakt...
I ran several MBR2GPT and they never failed and I never had to do anything!
What I would do.
Boot from USB and delete Partitions 3-4
Then create the EFI in partition 1
sel disk 0
sel par 1...
cmd (admin)
XCOPY R:\Recovery\WindowsRE C:\Windows\System32\Recovery
but your WinRE.wim is too old being successfully updated!
!
YOU are responsible for that!
Have you ever heard s.th. about...
I DID NOT tell you to run mountvol C: /s !!!!!!!!!!
We search the WinRE.wim first:
1. cmd
dir /a /s c:\Windows\System32\winre.wim
if not there:
2.
diskpart
sel disk 0
cmd (admin)
mountvol B: /s
run "Notepad" as Admin
and File open and navigate to B:\

Is there an EFI Folder or BIOS?
ricardomax

C:\Windows\System32>diskpart
sel disk 0
sel par 1
format quick fs=fat32 label="System"
assign letter=S
Mike, your Disk 1 also needs a treatment
As it's almost empty, you fix it easily.
Copy everything from (F:) to ...
Run cmd
diskpart
sel disk 1
clean
covert gpt
create partition primary...
That's easy to fix, but I don't wait so long till I get an answer!
My time is limited
Let Megahertz try
Go to the PC with the additional disk and create a screenshot of "Diskmanagement"
click on keyboard "Windows" + "R" and in Run type msinfo32
There you should find if BIOS or UEFI
Run
C:\Windows\System32>diskpart
list disk
sel disk # (replace # by the diskno.)
list par...
