- it did clear but it ws stuck at that level i naviagted the folder and deleted 2 files which were not removed and restarted the process it did reset the update...

been a long time was looking for something like that
when i tried it it gets stuck at a specific step for over 10mins
the step where it's stuck is the dekete %windir%\Logs\WindowsUpdate\**

i think reset & restart remove everything not sure but also can't risk it
