Yup, doesn't work in 118 - I reverted back to 117 (a pain in itself, as you can't uninstall Edge via Installed Programs).

So:
1: Rip out 118 here: C:\Program Files...

Thank you Skyre, that worked for me! I figured it might be a plugin, but Edge kept crashing. I did use 'Tabs Outliner' to replace vertical tabs, but it was 'not the same' - your solution worked...
