A few days ago I came across a peculiar problem.
Over the years I've used image health to scan and repair DISM as needed.
For years I have used this little CMD level free app image health 17.01.05...
Today I had an issue the were image health app no longer works and produces infinite repetitive windows popping up with the error message "the system cannot find the file specified".
So I...
"google" it!
I know this is unrelated but it might be.
AFAIK my system is free of any infections at least so do various scanner say.
But,
I am trying to scan a file and uploaded to virustotal.com. But I...
Nvidia drivers are okay, turns out there was some audio processing system tray applet that was a troublemaker
I found it is not the video driver but it is some poorly written applets, DFX or FXsound that gobbled up and leak memory and occupied the CPU for no reason!
The oddity is that these 3rd party items been around for years, fairly known and I have used them.
It looks more and more that any such audio processing apps are resource hogs for whatever reason...
In a previous post "System" using high CPU usage apparently linked to NVIDIA card" I then concluded as I had an apparent success by reinstalling/downgraded to an older 4xx.xx driver, that like others...
The joke OS Windows 11
Ex-Microsoft veteran calls out Windows 11's "comically bad" performance, 'unfinished' state
As I always said "99Marketing and 1% actual improvement"
Another forum?
The issue seems quiet a few people had and found that driver downgrading solved the problem.
Do a search "system resource Hog GPU1 - copy with newer Nvidia drivers" and you'll see....
It's a funny world sometimes...
So I entered into my search engine "non-existent hard drive (local disk Q:)..."
and promptly the first return was:
How do I get rid of non-existent hard drive...

Newer is not better!
I had a persistent system resource Hog GPU1 - copy needlessly taking resources and slowing down my system.
turns out it has to do with the newer 55X. XX Nvidia drivers.
Once...
SOLVED
The Germans long time ago concocted a very "au point" suitable word: "verschlimmbessern" to make something worse by constantly improving it.
In our update mania world where you get...
nope, all browsers have it turned off.
Wouldn't know where else to look what would have hardware acceleration
"System" using high CPU usage apparently linked to NVIDIA card
Started a few weeks ago.
Affects system overall performance making it sluggish and "sticky".
CPU monitor shows constant activity....
don't you love it? Updates for updates with known issues not being updated...
although this is an old thread, I'm curious, have you ever found a solution?
PS I never to this day ever succeeded with anything when I tried troubleshooter!
The notorious response is most of the time when I attempted to use it the stupid answer "troubleshooter could not...
It becomes truly amazing the endless meaningless content filling blah blah one can find on the "World Wide Web of mis- dis and malinformation," not to solve anything but most likely trying to sell...
I have been using for some years QTTabbar.
I never enabled the tabs function.
I don't like it, I don't need it.
I'm happy with all the other function it provides.
Recently about a month or so...
On Tuesday, March 5 I updated my desktop Windows.
As Bluetooth (BT) device I have an EVEO BT 5.1 plugged in.
although I never was really happy with the performance of the aforementioned it worked...
Since a few days I have exactly the same problem!
It always worked before and now not.
Did you find any solutions?

Intel thinks that constant upgrades to their defective design, solves the problem. It does not!
As long as you do not install the Bluetooth driver everything is more or less okay.
