Update: The site mislabeled this. It is not HDA.
Is the 9468 (HDA) on Necacom the full thing? It's pretty large, but the app directory (Win64) looks like it's missing much of what 9273's (the...
And Win11, at least for me, but I'm beginning to wonder if HDA is just outright deprecated--and what's better about its apparent successor.
To account for weirdos who have usernames that aren't one word, I would suggest encasing this in quotes. Otherwise, "Invalid Parameters" will result. Adding the quotes won't interfere with those who...
Has anyone noticed what happens when you leave your PC untouched (no mouse, no keyboard) for 3 or 4 minutes? Furious disk activity, every time.
Perhaps one of these tasks is responsible for that...
Are any of you getting Error 2505's in the System log? These were last discussed, perhaps, with 21301 back in February, and several of you mentioned seeing them then, sometimes in connection with...
JGToy: I highly recommend ditching Store for Skype. It gets stuck like that often, and getting it unstuck is a whole thing.
@alkaufmann: I don't know if you've tried writing a message with that...

Those two, at least for me, really spun their wheels when updating. Normally, the whole process is under 10 minutes. With these (and other recent ones, randomly), it'll...
You mean you can always reformat.
If only there had been several security updates available to accumulate in a cumulative update. That might have been a way to test the pipeline that's even better than one that does nothing.
With 6 exploits active, ain't no way they can only put out do-nothing updates from now until late in the month. They're going to have to actually put out a security update, just like they do for the...
Which I swear is what must have been happening for the first several years of Insider (either incorporated or tacked onto the install such that it was transparent to the user). Then in the last year...
Hmmm, you took it to mean that? I took it to mean that they merely fixed an issue some saw where .NET was being repeatedly offered for installation.
For anyone suffering with the "general slowness" problem that MS refers to as "We’re working on a fix resulting in WSL users finding that File Explorer launch performance regressed after upgrading to...
A thought:
For compatibility, Paint, Snipping Tool and all other apps migrated to Store should have hardlinks in their old locations, too.

Funny you mention key mapping: I'm having the same problem with snippingtool.exe. Mapping to the ever-changing path of where the app (and your app) is now is not a good solution, but the only one I...
See the release notes: it's bundled with the other app now. Install it from the Store and you'll have it back.
DWM.exe was a big leaker in the last build: it went in one direction (up) and it kept going.
Not so in this build. It fluctuates over a reasonable size. So, I think it's fixed but they don't...
I agree. While the trend is slower for me, it's not always slow in the same ways, and that doesn't really make sense since it should be doing the very same things every time.
They've been generally slower here for several months at least. Maybe 50% slower than before. It seems to be the pre-reboot phase that's slowed way down.
[ADDED 3/5] We are investigating an issue where on some high-refresh-rate monitors, games will only run at 60Hz. Variable-refresh-rate monitor scenarios may also result in tearing.
[NOT ADDED]...
You mean the network going out?
Anyone else been having problems with their network adapter being stuck on "Identifying..." since 21313? : windowsinsiders
If so, this build won't help. Has anyone...
It's impossible that a modern driver by a major vendor isn't digitally signed, so you should never need to do that. Plus, you had been using it. Feels like a bug.
Until it's resolved, assuming...
Do you mean that the quite-new v33.2.77 driver on HP's site doesn't work somehow? Did it before?
It just occurred to me: do you have PowerChute installed? If so, you may be bypassing entirely the native HID UPS Battery (HidBatt.sys) support, sidestepping the problem. Likewise someone with...
