I used the Personalize/Themes page to change back to the default theme and the 'box' turned translucent.

The only other change was I'm using the Aero theme so I can have borders around a File Explorer window that whatever the stock theme is called doesn't have.

I went back and loaded the 1st image of the O/S I saved and it shows a translucent box you mentioned when I try to move the file via a right click, NOT a solid box like I have now. I must then guess...

The problem with searches is finding & using the proper terms which is sometime harder than it would seem. :(

Translucent (which still blocks the view) or not, it's an annoyance and unnecessary. There must be a way to stop it. :mad:

I have the box about showing Thumbnails unchecked, but that only removes the enlarged Icon image, the box is still there.

It's always been there ever since I loaded the O/S a couple of weeks ago.

I restarted it a 2nd time and it appears to be working ok.

This is the 3rd attempt to disable the Caps Lock key and all failed including this one. Thou it appears it added the key, but it doesn't disable the Caps Lock. :(
