Threw in the towel. Decided to wipe HD completely and reinstall win7 so I can upgrade to win 10.

I have tried to upgrade from 7 to 10 at least 6 times and in every instance I get "The Installation failed in SAFE_OS Phase with an error during Replicate_OC operation 0x8007001f - 0x20006"...

Thank you for your reply, Left it run overnight and it started to install, Now it's up and running. So all i needed was patience, something that comes hard to me:D.

I have been trying to upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7 Pro for days. It has been stuck at "Making Sure You're ready to Install" for hours (Let it run overnight). I want to upgrade...

Same here but I used USB Drive to install and am dual booting with no problems. I partitioned my SSD Drive and allowed 40GB for Win 10. No problems so far...doesn't look all that different from "8"....
