Everything is all right with my cable as I've mentioned before, I've tried the same cable with other computers, so probably it's the motherboard or OS that's messing things up....

yes, absolutely, and it doesn't matter what duplex I choose it still doesn't change.

I have tried updating to gigabyte ethernet but it didn't help. And there's no way that this is planned obsolescence since this started a few months later after buying the computer

I've had an issue for about 2 years now, which is apparently causing my Windows 10 Pro to completely ignore any cmd or speed & duplex setting. Before you say anything, no, my cable is not damaged at...
