Given the various bugs and issues with the general Win10 x84/x64 PC releases being posted and experienced i'll hold off updating my windowsphone for the foreseeable few months.

I am running Win10 Pro x86, Win7 Pro x64 on desktop and a Win10 Pro x64 laptop all on the same Homegroup Network.
i disabled the Windows ID (my outlook.com email address)...

As per DustSailor comment above you can leave key till later, Microsoft are now allowing install of clean win 10 install without a prior version as long as you have the legitimate key for that prior...

Press Ctrl, Alt and Delete at the same time to bring up the menu then click on the power icon
hold shift and press restart that way ;-)

As you can see above i have only the 1 Realtek driver but a number of NVIDIA ones.
To be brutally honest i would uninstall the driver, reboot the machine and let windows find the best...

Not necessarily, if the settings are not fully set in the properties that can affect the volume max via the normal means.
Image 4 also check the list options are all unticked.

How old is the PC, sounds like a dying cmos battery to me.

In the search box type in Sound, the top option should give you the "Sound" control panel, click on that and 1st tab is Playback.
Now one at a time click on all options for Realtek and click on...

Are you using onboard sound or a seperate sound card?
Have you checked for any updated drivers on either the Motherboard or Soundcard manufacturers websites?

From the comments on the link bobkn posted it would appear that 32bit (x86) installs will work but not 64?

Have you checked to see if you are running outlook in compatibility mode? This caused a lot of issues historically.

In which case you will need to download the media creation tool from another computer and create a DVD or bootable USB from it before you can proceed.
