After every extensive update I have to reinstall windows. In your program files make a folder 'windows mail.ref' You can use it to restore your files.
Me too......
Somethings wrong with your 'puter or connection.
Just curious...........what's your feelings on the moon landing?
I did have to copy msidcrl30.dll to c:/windows/system32 folder as well. Omitted that. The link by resi1972 has all the answers.
I use Windows Mail (Vista). Copied it from a 64 bit machine of mine that's old. You have to delete the existing Windows Mail in program files before copying this over. Works just fine.

I switched on only one of my computers. Once I found I was able to install Windows Mail (from VISTA) and the games (from VISTA, & 7) I am satisfied I can figure out anything else.
I have done all three..........as well as windows update history has numerous failures.
....setup from MCT
.....Setup from mounted iso
.....booting from said iso
Hope this helps.............

My free upgrade will not work no matter what I try. It always gives me the same message. "........cannot be installed on USB flash drive." Of course, I do not have a drive attached to USB. ...
Yes, I was entering it manually. Am I supposed to "skip" ?
Windows 10 install will not accept my embedded product key. What do I do now??
Windows install says ( Can't install on USB flash drive.). That's how it sees my SSD. Do I have to put my original HDD back in, image SSD to it and then try to install?
