I tried that but it didn't work. I have the ISO file from the creation tool so do I just burn it to the usb using something like rufus then boot from bios?

I went ahead and bought a brand new one, hopefully will be here by friday. I've also been having trouble updating the 2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems...
I bought the key, entered it through system settings which triggered a restart to update the OS and that was pretty much it.

Unfortunately I didn't buy it from a retailer. It could be possible to return abiet a bit of a hasstle with level 4... but you said CRC drive problems, does imply that a new SSD could fix the issue?...
I bought this PC off trademe (NZ ebay) and it came without windows genuine so I installed it off a usb. As for the ram I run it default atm since booting in alone is a pain without OC at this point...
