I had the same issue. So i can confirm this report is correct.
Crashes for me:
1.) heavy loading/processing that lag the inputs.. with another heavy loading after it may re create this. blackscreen...

1.) Too hot.
Mess with fan speeds.
2.) Ram read - write problems.
Try other game if you don't or can't do that. If you did messed with Ram settings don't set them to full boost.

Most black screens on startup i came across caused by a registry key that if changed or deleted after restart.
Boom. Forget windows you have to format.
