Hi guys,
unfortunately I don't have access to this laptop at the moment. It's working fine, except this graphic issue. Simple workaround: after a restart just closing the lid and wait a few...
Hi'
I upgraded a MSI CX640 laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 v.1909. Everything went ok during the update, but the next day the display went blank after a restart. Windows is loading, but the...
Next surprise this morning: I'm using a M.2 SSD for the OS and another internal SSD for my data. Now my data drive shows up with an "?" in File Explorer and it can't detect the data on it....
I did that already, now I have the screens extended and the external monitor as main display and wait for updates (Microsoft, Intel, Nvidia).
This is frustrating: this morning everything is back to as it was. External monitor stutters, as soon as I switch to "Second sreen only", even with the lid open. I can use the external monitor...
I found some threads about this problem, user telling it's caused by explorer.exe. So I killed the explorer.exe process and I could close the lid and the external monitor worked without any problems....
I have a Dell P2419H monitor connected (Mini Display Port to VGA adapter) to a MSI GP63-8RE laptop. The laptop display (display 1) is connected to Intel UHD graphics 630, the external monitor display...
That.s exactly what ist was, now I can see the other computers and the USB storage device. Thanks for the reply, Bree.
Not so lucky here on a HP Elitebook 850 G1 - I had to go back to 1709 after a clean 1803 installation, because I lost all the network computers and the routers USB-storage device, only the router...
Thanks Jeff! I did a clean installation of Windows 10 Home version 1709 on a MSI GE72 notebook and the update KB4093112 was installing in a loop (7 times). Then I did the upgrade with the Media...
As it shows on the BSOD message, you might need to upgrade the "BIOS" firmware, which is not difficult to do, but if something goes wrong, your laptop will not be able to boot anymore.
You could...
Do you have a Windows 10 "repair disk" or "recovery drive" or can you get one? If so, you can boot from there to get to the command prompt.
Time will tell, as these issues can be pretty much anything, software and/or hardware related. You could also try a different PSU, if you have a spare one.
Microsoft's "confusion tactic" :D

Computers are getting slow and sluggish more or less, depending on what people do with it, especially on the internet. Both ways to speed up a computer again (clean up or clean install) need some...
I have the same (start menu, cortana and speaker volume in task bar) problem here on a HP EliteBook 850G1. Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 about two years ago there were major issues either with...
I don't care either. There are no top secrets on one of my computers.
And as for spam, I'm "spam ignorant". :D
ClamWin
I don't care if it's called Control Panel or Settings, as long as everything is in one place and there are plenty of "advanced settings" to tweak and speed up the system myself. I wouldn't like to...
Thanks for this enlightenment.
A lot (if not most) Windows-User even don't know what the Control Panel is. They just know where to click to get to the browser (they even don't know that it's called browser), their e-mail and...

As mentioned in post #4 I'm not worried. Tor I'm using since quite a while now for certain pages. Tails I've never tried, but it sounds good because it's portable.
Aviator I tried now for a while...
