Last night was the first time. I'm going to have to monitor it and get back to you
According to dell updater, it's all up to date
How can I make sure all of my drivers are up to date?
I'm currently using Snappy Driver Installer to update all to most recent or optimal.
I just used driver verifier and the devices I've connected are just external usb devices. It doesn't seem the crash is seen in event viewer.
Aside from connecting some devices, nothing has changed. I thought it could be one of them but verifier is supposed to stress them until a crash, no?
I just attempted this. It said all of my drives are good.
I just completely reinstalled Windows 10 fresh due to constant crashing involving the kernel mentioned in the title. It would crash 5, 6 times in 8 hours whether it was logged in or not. The crash at...
I'll give it a try.
I'll take a screenshot today when I get home and send it your way
I don't think the issue is the wrong driver, unless Dell's website is incorrect. I downloaded the update directly from Dell's website. It uses SupportAssist to identify my exact system and tell me...
I've been planning on buying a new larger solid state drive and replacing it for a while now. At this point, I'm just gonna have to whittle some space out. I use TreeSize to check on what's chewing...
Thanks for your reply. I'll try that this evening. It'll be tough because my C drive is pathetic and I only have 19gb free and that's after clearing out a lot of unneeded stuff when it became full...
Here's the story, I've been having a number of problems with my PC lately. Just recently, I found I had to restart the Realtek driver to get my PC to switch from in PC speakers to my external...
It isn't in sleep mode when this happens.
I have an odd request. I have my PC at work automated to backup everything on it every day at the same time, but I have it set to do so after I've closed all my programs and left. Reason is I also...
I have another question, I didn't want it playing upon the password bar appearing, so I didn't include the "on connection to user session" step, I think I may know now why that step appears. Without...
I ran it the entire night and it didn't throw any errors, but it could still be a problem with the RAM?

My laptop only has one RAM chip
I actually just got it to work. I didn't realize you need to add .WAV to the end of the filename.
Niether of these work anymore. At least they didn't for me.
Edit: They seem to work when I use Windows 10's built in Logon Sound but when I try to substitute my own, it won't even play. It's...
I was planning on doing another memtest overnight tonight, to be sure.
I'm not sure if I'm overclocking, if that's something I have to specifically activate, then probably not.
Yes. As I mentioned, the memory test showed no errors. If you're wondering specifically if I used memtest86, I did.
I created a log as instructed. I'm using Windows 10 version 20H2 version 19042.868 on a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz processor, 8 gigabytes of...
This one just happened while my computer was sitting idle for a few hours. I attached a minidump file. Any help is appreciated.
