It doesn't lose focus on the file - the file will still be selected but the scroll bar jumps to the top of the page, you obviously have to be scrolled down for the issue to exhibit itself. Best way...
Is it normal for Windows explorer to jump to the top of a folder list every time you click away from that tab to a different tab?
I get that happening and it's super irritating and pointless, I'll...
Go to Keyboard shortcuts in the settings and check what Ctrl+T is assigned to, assign it to the function you want it to do and then take it from there.
I have assigned Ctrl+T to duplicate current...
I have set mine to have an X but it's still not easy to delineate them with a quick glance, I often am working between many tabs at once
That may work but then the image would need to be...
Well the Win+E behaviour can be set to just open a new vanilla window(it can also be set to duplicate all the tabs currently open) which isn't too bad, the problem is if you forget the vanilla window...
I'm liking the new QtTabBar, I'm glad I made the leap!
I'm using a tiled image of panelled wood for the tab background, which looks great but all the tabs merge into one mega tab, is there anyway...
It does capture the first Win+E but every subsequent one is opened in its own window not a new tab.
When you select "Caputre windows" Capture Win+E remains greyed out for me.
Yes rebooted, sorry to clarify the first Win+E opens explorer(it doesn't remember previously opened tabs despite telling it to in the settings) any Win+E opened after that just opens another...
:(
Do these latest versions not capture Win+E?
I see the option is greyed out and it doesn't do it by default, also doesn't seem to capture new tabs
It also doesn't seem to be able to remember...
Cool thanks Steve, I'll give it a go
Thanks for the info guys.
If I hit a speed bump with 1043 which version before that was the most stable version?
I might actually first update to that previous stable version and then if that...
Tell me about the quirks?! :really:
A few years back I tried that Qttabbar fork some guy made but I soon had to revert to ye old faithful QTTabBar_1.5.0.0 beta 2
It's quite a process to get it all...
Thanks!
So no weird glitches and most importantly it catches every new Explorer window that gets opened and adds it to the existing window as a tab?
Is 1043 stable and 100% working?
And if not what currently is the best version.
I'm still using QTTabBar_1.5.0.0 beta 2 from way back when that amazingly is still 100% stable and works near...
