Alright I updated the system spec. What should I do to replace the NIC? From what I've read this one is garbage. Not sure if there is any verification for the NIC that is installed, or if there is an...
It's updated. Sorry, didn't realize that system spec was used a lot. I figured all the info that was needed would be included with the v2 log collector files.
It says in device manager that it is a PCIE device, however I am unsure if it is replaceable or directly soldered to the motherboard. My mother has the same laptop and has no issues with hers.

Still having issues. No BSOD's, but I believe it is that wifi driver. Having issues connecting to wifi, even though other devices on the network have no issue. Is there any tool I can use to check...
Driver was updated after the other BSODS, and I haven't had a BSOD yet. I think I will run driver verifier to see if I get another BSOD, and if I don't that should fix my issue. Really annoying that...
I can run driver verifier and get another BSOD for you if you like. I think I updated the realtek driver with the link that was posted above. There was no confirmation that it got installed. The...
Please discard my specs. That system is long gone, and this is a laptop I am working on. Driver verifier was turned off in safe mode seeing as I could not do anything with the laptop because it would...
My V2 log collector file is attached. I can't pinpoint the driver that's the issue. If I run driver verifier the system just keeps bsod'ing. Blue screen view showed ntoskrnl.exe and ntfs.sys as bsod...
Hey all,
Not sure what is going on here. I get very high CPU usage (around 50% on a Ryzen 2700x) and it comes from windows explorer.

When I try to open windows explorer, it is...
Yea I just nuked the drive and completely reinstalled. Spending more time installing all my programs again but it's whatever. I can now optimize the drives............
Doesn't even prompt UAC when run as admin. I'm the only account on this machine and am listed as an administrator. I'm going to reinstall windows and then we can start from a clean slate if I get the...
Okay I'm pretty sure that my original windows install is corrupted. Now I am getting errors when I reboot telling me that the recycle bin on the C drive is corrupted.
Okay I wiped one of my SSD's, disconnected every other drive, installed windows on wiped SSD. I was able to force run Trim. Reconnected one of my other SSD's (non boot SSD) and was able to run TRIM....
I disconnected every SSD except the boot drive. No dice. Uninstalled Samsung Magician, no dice. I'm pretty sure that's it for storage related add-on software, unless you count CCleaner and...
They're just going to tell me it's an issue with my operating system and then make me jump through all sorts of hoops.
I'd rather not nuke this install. I can wipe one of my other SSD's and install there and see if that fixes it.
Done. No change.
I also have Samsung SSD Magician installed, if that could be causing an issue? I had StoreMI installed but I got rid of that the other day with Revo. I don't think I have any other storage programs...
Did what you said and uninstalled all storage devices. Still no dice. Booted into safe mode and the optimize drives program would not even launch.
Uninstalled Daemon tools lite with Revo, removed...
I can try uninstalling daemon tools and the AMD driver if you think that would help.
I was poking around in device manager and found these under storage controllers as well. The Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller uses that same MSFT driver from June of 06

I just did a clean uninstall, restart, installed 18.10, restart. Still no dice.
Nope. Didn't work.

After I restart it still shows 18.50.06 installed. "Scan for hardware changes" does nothing. I can try to uninstall the chipset driver and reinstall it if you think that would work.
Already done. All possible drivers are updated as of the OP with the latest available. I can rollback the driver to the 2006 Microsoft version if you would like, but the same issues were still there,...
See the screenshot. Only options are AHCI and RAID, and it was set to AHCI when I went in there.
