Yesterday i removed the frame of the display and removed the cable that is connected to the display and put it back after checking it ...

I tried to change the drivers ... but the problem was still there ...

i tried removing the laptop screen myself to take a look if it was any loose cables ......

I am not sure if it is a hardware or a software issue ...

It was ok this time and this was the third software i tried to recover my files .

First i tried disk drill
Second i tried wondershare recoverit
Third time i tried test disk .

I was able to copy and paste all the needed documents and photos from the test disk recovery folder without any problems .

Wow , Testdisk is an awesome software

I connected the external HDD and ran the software .

It has recovered this much amount of files

I am already running a recovery software on my external HDD now .

I have 425 gb of documents to recover , so far the software i am running says it...

My external HDD is corrupted .
I tried to check the contents in it with an Ubuntu live cd but the external HDD is showing empty . I think i lost a terrabyte of documents , software and photos
...

I connected an old external HDD to my PC via a USB cable and i cant open the files inside it anymore.
It was working until yesterday .

I finally made it work by installing the 30 day trial version of VMware Workstation Pro 16

It was not working at all with Vmware player 16 .

I thought...

I have a big file in my pc , almost 220gb .vmdk file .

That is supposed to have the Windows 2003 operating system and SAP accounting software in it .

But i don't know how to install that...

I am going to sent them that link to do a repair installation from a USB .
