I have a built in card reader in my Median laptop. It always makes the connect sound as detected by my laptop for the first time but then makes the disconnect sound straight away. Annoying and no...
I mean the title description of a particular program in the title bar
Any way to change the text description in a Windows program / app? Just curious as to how one could achieve this?
I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU. No issues even though going from Gigabyte to Asrock. Windows recognised everything other than those items which needed an Asrock driver.
Windows needed...
A couple of graphics related issues in W10.Firstly, a message often pops up saying ''NVidia graphics driver has stopped responding and has recovered''. Even after downloading most recent driver.

A couple of positive issues.
Firstly, W10 is snappier than Win8.1. Okay, perhaps due to fresh install. But it does seem lighter and quicker.
Secondly, programs seem to install faster. Hardly...
So worth keeping the installation as it is or reinstalling W10 clean again?
I thought this with W8 and 7. I wondered if I'd made a mistake. But I persevered and stuck with 8.1 and made it my own - despite the negative press it got. Mind you, getting it for £14.99 from MS...

Downloading 10240 now as I type :D An unexpected surprise as I was not aware of this particular release.
Thanks for this! It did the trick. The download of 10166 now seems to be downloading. Now at 6%.
I seem to have hit a snag. I have 10166 ready to download. But I have to download and install Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.201.1368.0) first. However, it had been...
Well just installed 10162 over 10130 on my laptop. Seems smoother and more polished. Bugs seems to have been solved such as trackpad scrolling and auto hide on the taskbar, both of which decided when...
Was on 10130 for some time now on my laptop. Now updating to 10162.
Okay, may well wait until 29th July. No rush to upset a perfectly working system just yet. My laptop will give me ample time to explore Win10's good and not so good points.
