I said that both Tracerts were - Request timed out, on both Tracerts.
Hey, now suddenly it all works. Someone is messing with me. I did nothing to my equipment. I wonder if it was a hack or...
Still same problem.
How can my 2 computers have this issue today, yet my phone connects fine? Oddly I got to ebay on my second computer at first, but now it doesn't open on there either.
As for the hosts file, it is essentially empty {minus a descrition}.
Yes, I use the same browser, Firefox, on both drives. When it can't connect to sites, I get a time expiration message....
I am unable to connect to various sites now, including Norton {my antivirus} ebay, Windows Live Mail. I can connect to Facebook, Accuweather, yahoo mail, etc.
Also my Comcast streaming has my...
So a second directory named as another, the above commands will put a ' after it on 1, so u can choose which to rename? I guess this works better than just trying to rename it in Explorer itself?
How is that detected and fixed?
I had another odd occurrence where a folder that was referenced was said to be in another, differently-named folder.
Thanks.
Thanks. Will do once the issue pops back up. I guess good news it hasn't. ;)
It's a long directory path, which ends with "workspace". Then the folder in question in workspace is "model". The software is DeepFaceLab. It does not recognize that the model folder is there, so it...
How is it possible that I have 2 folders with the same name in the same directory? And 1 doesn't seem to be recognized by software I am using.
Thanks.
I have hotmail. Is that considered a Microsoft account?
It came with the computer. Not sure about it being linked or not.
My motherboard and CPU were friend, so needed replaced. Can I still keep my W10 I had?
No choice...it asks for it. I don't want a password or pin.
I am prompted for my pin when booting windows. I do that. But I want to skip that login. But now it asks for my password, which I don't remember. Am I stuck with using my pin, or can I still skip...
As I said in my post, the computer crashes before I can create a log.
Anyway, reset the BIOS and things seem fine now.
I have 2 M.2 drives, both bootable. My main 1 freezes after a minute or so. Sometimes I get the BSOD when re-booting.
I had an iffy SSD, so I removed it. But the problem persists. Troubleshooting...
Thanks!
Had the wrong 1. It's OEM. Bummer.
Thanks.
I can't access it currently, but I don't think I would have typed 97 instead of 3V. None of the other numbers match, but not sure that's relevant.
So I will have to buy Windows Pro?
My key ends with: 9766T
It's retail. Woo-hoo! ;)
I bought the computer used a few years ago, so not sure how it was installed. If no de-activation procedure, I guess I should just try with the new computer?
Thanks.
I'm getting a new computer. Can I de-activate my Windows 10 Pro license on my current PC, then activate on my new PC, or do I have to buy a second copy?
Thanks.
I see it takes an 8GB USB drive to create a bootable W10 drive. Mine's an 8GB USB but has, when empty, 7.53 GB. Will it all fit on my USB drive anyway?
Thanks.
