1. Take out HDD (or wipe it first? doesn't really seem feasible while OS is on it)
2. Insert SSD.
3. Install Windows 10 on SSD, from USB, don't input...

Yeah I've seen a bunch of solutions like this - unfortunately, I don't think it applies if the OS is on the 3TB drive.
