I have 2-3 copies of WindowsImageBackup from Win 7, on 3 different external drives, just like 10 I keep at least 3 full system backups on 3 separate drives, I take data loss, or lack thereof...

I don't think 3rd party is the answer...I've used the tools in windows for 33 years, of course I use a couple of free 3rd party, I have Aiomei partition assistant for making large USB...
