I block all three CCleaner files that just can't stop trying to go online...

That seems to silence CCleaner.
You can permanently get rid of it via a registry edit. I did it on my comp.
It wasn't easy.
You CAN edit the registry to remove that entry, or you can just make an exception for it in CCleaner.
I've had no Disk Usage issues with 5.69.7865, and I've had it on here for 2 days, and used it quite a bit.
They are probably already in my 3rd party MVPS Hosts file. I'll need to check.

I think I might switch to the portable version, then. The slim and standard versions, take like 15 seconds to OPEN on my computer. Most other programs open instantly.
I've never used the portable version of CCleaner. I am curious as to how it functions. I read that it store my CCleaner settings in an .ini file, which is fine.
But does it otherwise operate just...
