This topic is just to summarize your upgrade options...



Your choices...

1. Upgrade through Windows Update
2. Upgrade through In-Place Upgrade
3. Clean Install.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are like siblings... (pretty much the same)
If your Win 10 is running clean and tight... just "upgrade".

If you want a fresh start, do a clean install.

Read this...

And yep, you're compatible with Windows 11.

You should read this summary of the options for upgrading from Win 10 to Win 11,...

It's always best to use a matched two-stick set of RAM.

Sell the Corsair stuff... or return it... and get the Crucial stuff I linked in post #18

Save the original 8GB stick for emergencies.

Setting up RAM on a prebuilt computer is HARD. Companies like HP and DELL, don't want you to mess around in the BIOS.
You'll have to...

Right... cause RAM is DDR (double data rate)

Unless you seriously crank the RAM voltage... you won't break anything. Any other incorrect settings will just cause a fail to boot.

That's what I said above... for the frequency, you need to choose 3600Mhz.
The timings and voltage you're putting IN... are for 3600Mhz.
