I installed Windows 10 July 29.....everything was...

Yes It does....file transfer with a wired connection
Use wifi ON ANOTHER COMPUTER to "check email"

Wire the file computer....and use another with wifi to check mail

... Wi-Fi is very convenient, but it does not match the speed and reliability of wired Ethernet.

GO to 'Windows 10 upgrade ISO" and Down Load the ISO (about 1.5 hours @10 Megs download speed)
Windows 8,1 will mount it for you
Clink on "Setup.exe"

Had the same problem with Asus P5K3 deluxe wifi motherboard upgrading to Windows 10...
Plugged in an Ethernet cable...ok...but no built in wifi
Next time I "RESTARTED"....voila ....wifi app shows...

KASPERSKY totally takes over...

The ESET ONLINE VIRUS SCANNER found more virus that no other program I have run could find....

I ran it before I upgraded from 8.1 to 10

Both Programs.... (ESET NOD 32 Anti-Virus and Online Virus-Scanner) working great in Windows 10 and Insider Build 10525

And "Free Music" sites...:(

Was there a phone # in the BSOD?

Try ....ESET ONLINE SCANNER....I ran Microsoft Online Scanner and Malwarebytes Scanner...but it was the best
It's found more infections than Dr Schweitzer....
And eliminated them!!!:)
