When I am backing up my computer's files to another drive, I get a message stating that some of my files' paths are too long to copy. But it doesn't tell me where the files are, or I would fix the...
After you uninstalled Outlook 2013 and installed Outlook 2016, did you have to import your .pst files into Outlook 2016, or are you saying that when you installed Outlook 2016, that all your settings...
Hahaha! You're right! Thanks for the helpful info!
The 22H2 update finally became available in the Windows Update window and it is installed. It took about 4 minutes to install. Yay!
I like the idea of faster. But simpler and with less chance for error (I am not a computer expert) is better (for me) than faster. (Unless it's 10 minutes vs 4 hours or something like that).
How can I find out if there is a Safeguard Hold regarding a 22H2 update? And if there is a Safeguard Hold, how can I find out what the exact incompatibility is?
By the way, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my many questions! :-) I really appreciate it.
I may try MS update assistant. But I am still puzzled why 22H2 is not offered...
Select the Target Feature Update Version under Group Policy Editor shows 22H2.
But under About (under System settings) it says that my current version is 21H2

Of the three options mentioned, Group Policy Editor looks like the safest for someone who doesn't understand the registry well. Is that true?
And once I do...
Thanks. I do know about pst files and backing things up. What I would really like is a way to upgrade from Office 2013 to a newer version in the same way that Windows is upgraded -- just download...
The reason I was asking is that I have read some accounts online that suggest it is not optional for everyone, and that some have had Windows 11 installed on their computers even though they did not...
I have Windows 10 Pro (21H2). Is it possible to upgrade from Office 2013 to a newer version of Office and not lose any documents/settings/email/etc ?
I currently have Windows 10 Pro (21H2). I do not want to upgrade to Windows 11. I want to keep Windows 10 until end of service. What is the easiest, simplest way to do this?
Thanks.
It's still working without app specific passwords -- but I'm wondering if I should create some anyway. Any thoughts about why this still works without app specific passwords, even though google said...
Thanks for the helpful info! I appreciate it.
Anyone else have any thoughts re: this topic?
Thanks to everyone for the help! I really appreciate it!
Hi,
I read in a number of places that Gmail was not allowing people to download email to their desktops via Outlook 2013 anymore, and that I would either need to get a newer version of Outlook, or...
Hi,
