this is a 2 year old dell desktop.
normally i do not connect to the internet- i use a chromebook for that.
but pinnacle studio needed reinstalling so...(it failed anyway!)
but first i updated...

so it happily was copied to the seagate drive, but copying to the mybook is a nono!
it is probably, as you suggest a file in a sub folder.

I have a seagate 4T drive with videos on it,
Just got a new WD MyBook 6T drive.
i often get the file too long message when i tried to copy the files to mybook.
they fit on the seagate...

no need to get unpleasant, J
does this help. only regular software has been added, nothing physical.

it seems to only record the larger of the 2 files, although both files ARE within the main...
