I lied about the 32 and 64 bit thing sorry you need to download the 32 or 64 bit version.
The iso I got from Microsoft is the 64 bit version and I can install home or pro. After it asks to install it asks whether or not you want 32 or 64 then it asks whether you want home or pro.
Oh and fwiw once I booted from DVD I got the option to choose home or pro upon install windows 10
Brilliant this is what I wanted thank you so much
Thanks top gun I'll do that now
But how is it done? i have windows 7 installed on my 1000 gig and windows 10 installed on my 500 gig and i dont wana keep switching hds
i have 2 instances of windows 7 ultimate 64
Not sure where this was supposed to go sorry in advance, I want to dual boot windows 7 and windows 10 on 2 seperate hard drives is it possible?
Pretty sure it was official
I downloaded it from Microsoft site and it said nothing of pro all it had was windows 10, n, nk, 1 language
Last question, I downloaded the windows 10 64 bit iso but does it auto detect that I have windows 10 pro?
Ok thanks
So doing a reinstall of windows 10 will be the same assuming I did a format and reinstall like windows 7 when you boot from DVD?
I upgraded from 7 ultimate 64
Upgrade system? As in update in windows update?
After the free upgrade how do i reinstall windows 10?
I got windows 10 pro 64 as the free upgrade and i did the upgrade not the clean install as I just formatted my hard drive with windows 7...
