OK, thanks for your help. I'll try rebooting and then backup again with FixFox open, since I didn't reboot after enabling recovery environment before. Then I'll try the recovery options on restart as...
Yep, it shows "ServicePack Build : 3920"
Well even though recovery partition now shows Enabled, MS backup still failed with Fixfox open, so it didn’t cure that. Seems strange that KB503441 installed after partition extended by with recovery...
First “reagentc /info” didn’t show disabled but also didn't show any files, just listed possible switch commands. So I did “reagentc /enable” and “reagentc /info” again and files did show (see below)...
To add to this crazy confusion caused by MS with this update. After I increased my empty recovery partition from 498 MB to 1.31 GB and then completed installation of KB503441, it didn’t even write...
You're welcome, I hope it helps others also.

Thanks for your input, recreating a new bootable media after new version does have good logic and is what I will do. That also seems to be confirmed by the last bullet point you’ve shown from link...
I have a bootable USB stick created with previous version. Does anybody know if I should rebuild it with this v7.3.5550 version or no rebuild required?
Thanks for reply, if it gets any worst I'll have to check that even though the hinges are in good shape. Might have to disassemble anyway to check all connections and wires so will look into GPU...
Quick update on this, it doesn’t appear to be a battery problem. I’ve recently noticed a light tap on bottom and it will boot normally on next attempt. Some kind of bad connection I assume, but not...
Thanks for reply, but I’ve already replaced it, 2nd bullet point of things tried.
Thanks for your suggestions,
Nothing in usb ports but wireless mouse transmitter/receiver. Most of boots were on battery. Will try removing battery and booting off wall, but will be difficult to...
Thanks for your suggestion,
Did that in bullet point #6 if you meant Dell Support Assist troubleshooting program. I also just added that I had set Win 10 fast boot to off, because I forgot to...
My laptop, system one listed in “My Computers” Running Win 10 pro version 2004 (OS build 19041.685). Has an inconsistent occasional boot problem and looking for someone that might be able to guide me...

Thanks for reply, I’ll try the troubleshooter as you suggest. That is laptop that’s been on win 10 since sept. 2019 (~ 6 months) System One of listed computers. I had to restore image backup from...
