If you restrict the size or available free space of the VHD( you could have a custom pagefile larger than necessary, for instance), update will repeatedly fail, and you can hide unwanted updates...

Native boot VHD installation or installation on a removable drive for any build prevents feature build updating via Windows update.

You can open ESD and Wimfiles with 7-Zip, which will report errors in file structure and will not open corrupt Image files, and can open the descriptor [1].xml file in an xml reader of your choice,...

In Edge, go to the MCT download page, and press F12, Emulation and select the User agent string tab for Apple Safari (Ipad):
