Why is there no spell check on Word Pad? It should be the most important feature on any document app???

Many thanks to you both it is the touch pad and it is extremely sensitive even set on minimum sensitivity and I must be touching it with an extra finger or thumb. Problem solved.

I should have mentioned that it is also happening to documents or any other thing that I scroll and I use two fingers to scroll, it is something that is relatively recent.
