Is there a best practice for commands to run (such as the one above) after a CU or even a major bi-annual update to validate that it installed without issues?
Darn, still nothing for Sandy Bridge. I can't figure out why M$ hasn't pulled the gun on this. Intel released the micro-architectural data sampling microcode updates for all the chipsets concurrently.
Just an FYI that I got some guidance over at Wilders. I applied the KB4465065 standalone update. This upgraded me to the 0x2E microcode and with the already applied registry keys, I now have SSBD...
