It worked, uninstalled the Intel Update Utility program and it freed up 52.5 GB. Now I can store more books. :-)

I did a clean disk yesterday that netted about 3 GB of free space. I did what you suggested which is the about the same task as clean disk and it will free 78 MB.

I don't ever recall putting it on here egnatzatsonic. It sounds like a reasonable explanation for filling up space though. I don't use this machine as often as my original 13yr old compaq with win 7...
