Hey Jack, did you place that Pimoroni order yet? :-)
Mounted my Crickit Hat to one of my 3B+'s. Haven't powered it up or installed the software yet. Neck and shoulders are getting sore so I'll likely have to pack it in for today.

Did a little Arduino stuff too. I bought one of these, https://www.adafruit.com/product/275 plastic mounting plate for breadboard and Arduino.
I had a spare Arduino and one of those small...
Did a little tinkering today. I wanted an all red Pi Zero case so I ordered a Zero W and Zero V1.3 pibow and then swapped layers around. Its actually Red, Orange, Red but looks all red from a...
Adafruit order arived while I was out taking Ginger for play time. I'll tinker with a little bit of it tonight. We're going to have comapny for supper so most of it will have to wait till tomorrow. ...
Thats my ultimate plan for at least one of my rovers. I have a little controller with a joystick (really a 4 way switch) and some buttons on it. It works with the Pi Ok, tested it in Raspbian as a...
Good or bad I didn't go the MagPi route. I installed Raspbian, then ran the explorer pHat installer. Then coded it up in python to use my keyboard as a controller. Works a charm with two wheel drive,...
I hope you have better luck than I did. I have yet to get a 4 wheel rover to work correctly. Numerous tries. Those two motors I sold to you were left overs from my last attempt. I converted it to a...

Hey Jack, if you haven't placed that order yet you may want to add two of these, https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/micro-gearmotor-enclosure I think I gave you two already? If not you may want to...
I believe they are 50 to one? I'll go check my orders and verify What they are.
EDIT: They are 50:1 acording to my order history. I remeber asking Phil what was used in the rover you linked too...
The build side of it I usually get done in good time, if I have all the parts I need. The software side not so much. The actual coding in python part is where things usually slow down for me....
My Adafruit order is now saying delivery on Monday by end of day. I was hoping to get to play with some of it over the weekend. =(
Interesting you should mention that. I also have the full pan tilt in my cart ready to order. I needed my other stuff from Adafruit a bit more though and can't afford both. Plus I'm still mulling...
Setup was pretty quick, still have a black boarder around my screen after checking the box during the quick setup. Very thin black boarder mind you, not enough to really worry about. Just barely...
I have to clean up some clutter to get near my spare monitor to plug a Pi into it lol. Shouldn't take too long though, I'll get back to you in a bit with my first impressions.
I downloaded them. I may just do the update upgrade for now on my 3B+. Starting over from scratch means setting up my RTC again. Thats a little bit of a pain. I have two new Micro SD cards I'll put...
New Raspbian images are up, https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/
I don't think there is anything special in them, haven't looked at the changelog yet though.
EDIT:

One advatage to a kit like that is, its all there. Except for your Raspberry Pi and power supply. No needing to make something else or modify something with a drill or dremel etc. And you just follow...
The Source in the little strip mall in town here is already gone. Sign and all. I was going to look in there for a deal on SD cards the other day. So its all of them that are going. I fgured it was...
My Adafruit order should be here by the end of the week. I had to take the more expensive shipping option, likely because of the LIPO battery. They were saying expected delivery Thursday the 18th. I...
Just got the order has shipped e mail. Its been off and on for me lately. Do a bit then take a few days off. The weather has a lot to do with it. It's hard to get motivated when its wet and gloomy...
My Raspberry Pi Crickit Hat is on the way, or will be very shortly. Just got the order confirmed e-mail. I needed a LIPO and there were a few other things I wanted that I can't get at Pimoroni....
All the Coupe Pibows now have a cutout for a heatsink. And vent holes in the bottom layer. Plus you can now get this, https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pibow-modification-layers?variant=17839278663...
