Sorry for the very late response, yes, this model supports only M.2.SATA drives, I missed the -z part of the model name when I sent the PM, sorry.

Yes, if you install in a PC with unsupported CPU some features may not work, I have tried on a laptop with i7-6700HQ and I didn't get the Widgets.
