The past 2 months updates means that on restarting, the SSD manufacturer screen comes up with warning of imminent failure. SSD is 2 years old with W10 Pro 64 bit put on as a completely new computer...

I suspect that is what Avira support collector is doing now. Occasional errors going back in time nothing specific
could be anything - MS, AV or both. Currently running a deep scan for Avira. Wiredly on power button - it went straight to start with no boot issue - out of 8 starts.
The thing to recall though all this began with KB4493509 release
disabled Fast startup - no change. Interestingly on restart it became un-disabled!
