US$115 bundled with basic TV and landline phone. But we don't really use the landline phone. It was just part of the bundle. :-)

I used the native snipping tool on Windows.
After snipping the image, click the copy icon, then type "Ctrl+V" to paste on the message you are typing.

Ok, this is not a Speedtest... this is actually my VPN connection speed... Canada via Germany... not too shabby... lol...

That is exactly the title of this thread... haha... :)
Just gaming and 4K video streaming.
Same old, same old...

The gateway you returned is just a modem? Usually it's a modem-router combo.
Here's my speed, with VPN Off and VPN On (NordVPN)...

Actually, Bell "owned" Rogers... :)

I jumped to 1Gbps (switch ISP) because the package (1Gbps + 4K TV channels) I was offered is cheaper by $40 than with my previous ISP (100Mbps + basic TV package).
I don't need it but it saves me...
Yup. That's the only way to get 1Gbps. Fiber to the node will never reach gigabit speed.
You'll be surprised.
For the first 2 years, CAD $90 (US$70) as a bait offer for me to switch. Then back to normal price of CAD $140/month (US$109) after 2 years.
It includes 2nd tier 4K TV...
I am actually amazed when I upload some short videos. The moment I press upload on Youtube, it's processing right away. It's like it skipped the "upload" part. :-)
Browsing, maybe not. But that is the least thing you can do with fast internet. ;)
But for streaming videos and 4K content, that's where the big difference is. Who likes video buffering?
It's...
That was from 4 years ago.. I've upgraded since...
I am now on gigabit speed. A little over than 1Gbps.

I always use Ethernet cable too via powerline adapters. I only use wifi for tablets and phones at home.

It doesn't make sense if one has a gigabit speed with limited monthly usage.
Good thing in our area, it's unlimited (Bell Canada).

You got it right. Fiber to node (FTN) will get up to 100Mbps only. Fiber to home (FTH) will give you gigabit speed. I am on FTH ATM.
Hahaha... you just got me all curious about the Netflix speedtest app. I didn't know about it till today. :)
That seems to be the case with my 1Gbps internet....

Did yoy try to manually change servers on Ookla? Could also be a server issue.
Using my ISP's Speedtest app, it reaches the promised 1 Gig speed... :)
