How come they released one for your mobo which is older than mine, but not for my mobo? ASRock > Z370 Taichi
Thanks!
Right, I missed the gaming part, my bad.
They didn't for my board: ASRock > Z370 Taichi
So there's nothing wrong with what I currently have installed?
So you recommend that I install HDA drivers then instead of what I downloaded from MS catalog? if so can you link me those drivers for components and the Audio driver?
What's the difference between the compact version that I installed and new the HDA?
I should continually check for updates on the Windows Catalog, you reckon?
Thank you! I have now installed them as you explained and everything seems to be working fine. https://i.imgur.com/gnMdOmS.png
Thank you for bearing with me and providing all the help you have...
Odd, I'm not finding that. Can you provide me the page you found it on?
Just to confirm. You're talking about this, correct? https://i.imgur.com/9e6QkYf.png
For the other folder that updates the 3 software components. Do I have to click on each one of them and install it, or just any of the components?
Sounds easy enough, but which drivers in device manager should I update with what? you made me download two drivers. One for media and one normal one.
Fair enough, I downloaded the updates you spoke about in your earlier comment from the windows catalog page, but I have no idea how to install them through the device manager at all?
As I said, clicking RtlUpd64 did nothing at all. Clicking setup.exe is the only thing that worked, but this time for some reason It installed all the three components and Realtek Audio Console now...
Well, this was extremely odd. I reinstalled the driver just now (I did that multiple times before without avail), but now I was able to launch the Realtek Audio Console and It also installed the...
You mean RtlUpd64/RtlUpd? I tried clicking that and nothing happens. Only thing that works is the setup.exe
What Asrock installer? you mean the one that comes with the CD?
I'm not being able to install it through the cmd line because it keeps showing me this https://i.imgur.com/cXUEMxA.png . Is there an easier way to do this?
There is no read me file on the driver package from Asrock and I have already checked their forums. A bunch of people have my problem with no solution. Why do you think I'm here xD
What read me file?
After I install the 8496 driver directly from asrock. The 3 software components never show up in device manager.
I actually did that and did a clean install of the UAC, but it still RAC didn't work. Also, what do you mean generic audio manager?
Yes, but it's stuck in loading when I launch it and sometimes it launches but nothing is in there.
Here's the issue. You saw that driver you linked for my Mobo on the Asrock driver page. It actually doesn't work with the Realtek Audio Console at all. This is why I'm looking for a newer one that...
