Thanks, I've tried both fail-safe and optimized defaults for the BIOS. I've also re-flashed the latest BIOS which I was already on. I even flashed to a newer beta BIOS that was available but it...
I'm not very savvy so I've attached the page from the manual discussing this. Can't tell if it would only allow two slots.

Is this normal or does it indicate bad memory slots?

I'm starting to suspect this since I've tried everything else. So Windows would recognize the 8GB installed even though the pins are bent? I figured if the pins are bent, it would only recognize...

Is there a way to see an email count in the mail app? For example, when I'm in my inbox, how can I tell the total number of email in the inbox. I've just switched from Windows Live Mail (which is...
Thanks mate, I have since resolved to using AOMEI for my backups.
I'm setting up a file backup on Win 10 Pro. Under the backup settings there is the "Back up these folders" section. I have a total of five folders I want to backup so I keep removing all the...

Thanks coderwolf! I forgot about that. Yes, during initial setup I sign-in w/my microsoft account. After things are setup, I switch to a local account.
I ask because even though a clean install, some of the OS settings from my previous install carried over. Additionally, I had a picture that I personally took as my wallpaper and even that carried...
I'm referring to data such as pictures, music, ms office files, etc.
That said, if there's a way to backup an image of the whole things (including OS), I'd like to explore that as well. But I'm...
When I was on Win 7, I used Norton Security Suite that included backup tools that I used to backup all my data. I'm now on Win 10 and have decided to use the MS security tools instead of Norton (not...
Thanks, I tried all the reset/troubleshooting options but kept getting the error below so I just decided to do a clean install. I keep the OS/programs on a separate partition than my data so it...
Thanks for your help, Brink. I ended up doing a clean install and am rolling again.
