@moderators: changed status from "Solved" to "Unsolved"
Hi @Bree, it turns out that that which MR calls 'Source' is the source from which the backup originally was made. (Which, although...
Thanks, das10. I will look into that. (have to RTFM anyway :)
Will mark this topic as 'Solved' thanks to Bree's confirmation of my suspicion about messed up references.
Still have to find out how to solve that, though.
Thx everyone
Thanks, SIW2. But I would do that as a last resource.
The stupid thing is that I purchased MR, but obviously don't really understand it. Want to 'get' MR and my mistake(s) first, preferably.

Thanks dalchina, I understand you have to 'move on'.
Contacted Macrium already: it's a no no.
Yes, but didn't you see in my 'What I don't understand' pic that Macrium doesn't give me that option?
And: as I wrote before, it DOES show the correct image 'B:\.... .mrimg'. THAT's what's bugging...
Hi guys, since a few month I run Macrium Reflect Home v7.2.x (paid version) and run daily back ups, but until yesterday I never had to restore an image.
However, yesterday an update for my vpn...
Hi Stokvisss,
Did you check in Task Manager if there's a specific program or service causing the surge?
I ask this because I had a similar problem which turned out to be caused by...
Hi guys,
I’m running Windows 10 – 1809 x64, now on build 17763.775. (Still got Win7 Pro SP1, Group B running on secondary HDD, but Win10 is now my daily runner.)
Updates are handled by WuMgr and...
The past weeks I read about audio problems after installing KB 4489899, but has it been re-released meanwhile and is it now safe to install?
The version offered to me through WuMgr is:

Repair was not possible, so I decided to install Win10 again.
This thread can be closed.
I will now try to repair Win10, but don't know if that's possible with a usb.iso....
so I will be logged off from tenforums for a while.
It shouldn't but it did. I can't make a screenshot from within Win10 because ALL rights and therefore even basic functions are denied, like starting Explorer f.i.
P.S. All Win10 and Win7 accounts...
I tried again and found that ALL Admin10 rights are gone! I can't change anything anymore in Win10.
But it's 1 A.M. local time, so I have to go to sleep unfortunately. I will log in again at 10 AM....
Hi guys, recently installed Windows 10 Pro 1809 on a second internal drive.
All was well until I made a stupid mistake in Windows 7 that effects rights in Windows 10. :banghead:
PC:
Win7 Pro SP1...
Thanks for clarifying that, @mike s.
However, the language choice could also be the culprit.
Nevertheless, I ditched the setup on the external drive and will install on a new/second internal...
Driver problem? Yeah, that sounds probable.
And no, I won't install 1809. I know about its hiccups. That's why I installed 1803.
Thanks, Mike. But that's not the case. Both chipset, drive and port are up to USB 3.0
Let me rephrase my initial question and order of events:
WinToUsb makes it possible to fool the iso to...
Thanks for the answer, Bree. However:
Probably I was too short on words, but I do NOT want to upgrade Win7.
I want to have a dual boot option: 1. internal drive/Win7, 2. external drive/Win10.
So...
Hi all, brand new here. Got a problem and hope to get some help. Thanks in advance!
Today I successfully installed a win10-1803.iso on an external/usb drive using WinToUsb (latest version).
I can...
