I turned off Disk Defragging as shown below, but nothing has changed.

Good point. If that's the case, it's unfortunate that it's never able to finish because I don't give it...

Every time i leave my computer idle for 5 minutes, disk defragmenting starts acting up. It never did this on Windows 7, and its very annoying. This causes my fan to speed up and it stays that way...
