The new driver has been successfully installed and everything on the system runs fine.Also the driver information in windows control panel matches with the driver version in nvidias control panel....
I uninstalled them in order to see if there is a new driver installed during upgrade and old one left in system by accident.But now there is none of the versions.

Sorry for the confusion - I updated my laptop to win 10 pro 64bit from win 7 ultimate 64bit.
I have manually uninstalled the nvidia drivers and components and now there is no driver at all which...
This case is on my laptop with gt 740m vcard.
It means that I should not install the latest nvidia driver but one step inferior ?
One thing confuses me at the moment - in contol panel, it shows nvidia graphics driver 350.12 installed but when I open nVidia control panel, it shows me version 353.54.
What to do in such case ?

To test things out Today I have upgraded my laptop from win 7 u 64bit to win 10 pro and everything went perfectly fine and suprisingly, win 10 really does feel awesome eg....
So you would say that clean install is better than just upgrading ?
From which OS you moved to Win 10 and did you choose a clean install or you kept your files and settings?
