Before I return to 10 home version (reverted back to 8.1 for a few months), there are a few issues I can see and experienced when using the new system which need to be clarified/fixed before I go...

There are a lot of good points raised in this thread. However, the main point is that most actions done on your computer are Logged and that data transmitted to Microsoft when using a Windows device...

Having read a huge number of posts in this Forum, it seems that most (but not all) of the issues have arisen from upgrading via Download rather than installing from a Disc using a 'clean install'.

One of the new features of 10, is that it transfers all kinds of data between any computer that is registered to the same MS account holder. Useful feature for some...

I ended up downloading the 'clone' of my hard drive back onto my laptop.

10 has gone some very interesting and innovative features which I really want to utilise...but I wont attempt to re-load 10...

I am sure that a vast majority of 10 users with the Firestorm viewer don't have any issues whatsoever.

I'm sorry to hear of your similar problems, but am at the same time relieved to hear that someone else has encountered log-in issues.

As for 2 factor Authorization, I kept checking with MS...

I contacted MS tech support and explained the situation....talking to them in chat using my desktop (8.1) and wanted to rectify why my MS password isn't being recognised on my...

I just went to log-on on my laptop and have the same issues as yesterday.....

1. It said that I had no Internet connection.
2. After direct wired into the router and disabled WIFI it let me type...

Second Life Firestorm viewer has encountered log-in issues and a few other minor irritants.

However, a 'clean re-install' has normally resolved many of these issues.

Like many 'builders', I have experienced and heard of numerous issues using the FIRESTORM viewer. after uploading Windows 10.

These include:
