Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't perform a System Restore simply because there're no sounds when inserting and removing a USB device. Right now, I suspect it's caused by a bug from a KB update.

There's no sound when I connect and disconnect USB devices. The sounds used to work until one or two weeks ago. I am not sure if the other event sounds work or not, but I can use media players...
