Lol, thanks Cliff!
Thanks Mike
Well i'll try not to mate.
Nothing bad Steve, quite the opposite lol. The Wedding is in like 6 weeks! We haven't even bought the wedding rings yet! I spent too much on my PC but don't really...
Great score Mike:cool:. Wasn't much between us in the end but well done on the win. I'm done with benching on my current set up. Got other things on at the moment.
The reason his 2060 can't beat a 1080ti in this benchmark Thrash is because the 2080 is the equivilent. He would need a 2080 to even draw level with a 1080ti.
I agree it would most likely beat it...
I was under the impression the 2080 was the equivalent of a 1080ti. I owned a 2080 for a little while after selling my 1080ti and the 2080 only beat the 1080ti in a couple of benchmarks.
The 2060 is...
Thanks Kol :-)
OldMike65 great score Mike, really well done. It's not easy to increase our scores when we get to this level is it so great job.
Thanks Doug and Steve
Glad to hear you got it fixed Brian. Often when any heavy OC goes wrong especially if it's to do with RAM then a clear Cmos is the way to go.
You have no idea how hard I worked this evening to get...
Thank you Doug
New score :-)

Heaven is a swine! Glad you have the new card Kol. Hope it goes well with the benching etc :-)
Yeah it's a great program. I just edited my post as I accidentally put cpuz lol
Thanks Kol. Good point on it possibly glitching. I use gpuz to measure the watts which should be accurate.
I think I will try reinstalling it and installing an older version if that doesn't work.
Thanks for looking Kol. I have just finished a lot of testing and it turns out for me the issue lies with Precision X1 software. If I run any bench at any overclock using that it will max out at...
Yeah Nvflash is the way to go with all gpu bios stuff.
You can also force precision x1 to do the initial update again by shutting down your pc and disconnecting power cord and holding power button...
Are you referring to the bios update it does when you first run the precision x1 software Mike? There is an easy way to get it to do it again.
Yeah slider maxed out at 124 Kol. Using gpuz to measure the power whilst benchmarking. I set it to show the maximum and it only hits 310w.
It's performing fairly well but my ROG Strix would hit way...
Yeah I would have thought it should be pulling 350w at least.
That's very impressive bud. Excellent core speed. I will most likely look at flashing a different bios onto the 2nd oc bios on the...
I had the core up to 2100mhz and temps were not exceeding 45c so I thought it would have gone higher that 310w. I have ran 2130mhz too on other benchmarks at a max of 40c and it still maxed out at...
I have tried both Steve. They both max out at around 310watts even though the latest version on the regular bios is supposed to run what doorules said. Will look into it some more tomorrow.
Yeah it should do mate. The precision X1 updated the bios when I first ran it but it is topping out at 310w which has confused me.
Not beat my score yet but changed my gpu. I made the decision to send the ROG Strix back before the 30 day return window with Amazon expired. Just having a play round with the new card at the moment...
Really great score Mike . You got that card on Ln2 or something? :chuckle:
