Figured it out. Was thinking it might have been the custom theme I bought, so switched to the new account I made and when I went to install the theme, it mentioned needing to install oldnewexplorer...
Hmmm seems I have no quick access... I do recall changing the option from opening explorer to quick access.... to open This PC. When I change it back to quick access it doesn't appear to do anything...
I have no explorer ribbon and not sure what happened to it. Been rather busy lately with other things, so maybe it was never there on install and didn't take notice... not sure. I just know it's not...

Can someone tell me if this looks normal? Just installed Win 10 and was about to rearrange some drive letters and thought it looked odd with so many drives labeled active and primary.
