I could not find the ost but I have now ended up with this:

"The Microsoft Exchange admin has made a change that requers you quit and restart Outlook"

Which does nothing!!!

I looked at my Outlook settings and I think that I went OTT in ensuring that I turned off the usual frills and removed a few more. That few more was the fly in the ointment
