I removed the last W10 update, KB4565489 and the watermark has disappeared. I can access the activation page but can't contact activation server! No current keys are accepted, including W7 key....

sfc failed at 42% and dism returned error 87.
Can't get sfc to write a log file though.

I downloaded the ISO from MS, so it's legit and the W7 key was used to activate it, so I have a digital key registered.
I still have a W7 key (and W10) but the activation page won't let me enter...

It says the specified product key is blocked. But why?
And today the watermark is back.

And since W10 was updated, I can't automatically load the internet. I have to reconnect manually every...

I had the above pop up on my screen yesterday, which I thought was strange as it was activated a long time ago.
This is a Asus aspire laptop, originally Windows 7, but upgraded under the MS Windows...

Amazingly it actually restarted and loaded a new version of Win10. But this one is 17134.81...……..?????????

After six attempts at updating 1709 to 1803, I'm giving up. It always fails to install on the restart, and yes, I've tried every trick to get it to install.
